Helicopter-flying-lesson.co.uk, My name is John Evetts and my desire to learn to fly a helicopter and become a commercial helicopter pilot was realised several years ago. During my private pilots license and subsequent commercial pilots license training it became apparent that a significant amount of the training could be completed through the use of simulators at a fraction of the cost of traditional methods employed at many helicopter flying schools. Like many I struggled to master the art and although this was in part due to my own limitations, I later discovered that much of the problem lay with the schools and their training methods. Before becoming a helicopter pilot my background was in electronics systems design and as a professional IT trainer/instructor. This has enabled me to develop systems that effectively replicate the aircraft for training purposes.
